The Patriot Program Quality Senior Analyst / Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will support Patriot Product Line (PPL) Quality team on the Patriot Ground team at our Andover, MA location. You will interface with the Factory to support Production issue resolution, Continuous improvement, and Cost Savings initiatives. This Individual should have a strong quality mindset, proficient communication skills and ability to lead teams and collaborate across multiple functions to support the Patriot BMC4I IPT.You will proactively engage with the product line and work in partnership with Product Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Execution, Operations, Deployed Teams and the Quality team. You will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements of the programs, and occasionally interface with U.S. Government Customers, Foreign Customers, and Suppliers. You will support proactive and reactive engagements across our factories and suppliers that support the Global Patriot portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk.What you will do: • Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), assisting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance with Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements. • Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships. • Must have the ability to manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders, as it is vital to the success of this role. • Responsible for: • Quality of delivered products and services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality. • Developing and implementing strategic and tactical Mission Assurance plans that will closely affect the programs’ implementation and influence. • Improving processes or systems using significant conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation skills. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and information is typically difficult to obtain. • Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and to ensure extensive RCCA. Identify when such activities are warranted. • Generation of new Cost of Quality (CoPQ) projects to reduce costs on the program. • Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as applicable. Qualifications you must have: • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. • Relevant experience is work in a manufacturing environment (Operations quality, Manufacturing engineering, or other Engineering disciplines). • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems. • Experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing/ production and/or design processes. • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications we prefer: • STEM degree • Experience with APQP • Six Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification. • Active U.S. security clearance. • Experience in other functional areas such as engineering, supply chain, or operations. • Effective verbal and written communication and networking skills to work with upper management and customers. • Hands-on experience in solving both business and technical problems. • Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement.
