THE ROLE Insomniac Events is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Festival Marketing team. This role plays a key part in the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that support our portfolio of festivals and branded events. Working closely with cross-functional teams, artists, and external partners, the Marketing Coordinator helps bring campaigns to life while ensuring projects remain organized, on schedule, and aligned with overall marketing objectives. This position reports to the Director of Festivals and is based in our Calabasas, CA office, with regular travel to on-site event locations as needed. This is not a remote position. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns across assigned festivals and brands. Partner with the team to brainstorm content strategies and manage social media content calendars for assigned projects. Work closely with artist teams to coordinate and secure artist assets in support of marketing campaigns. Partner with Executive Producers, marketing leads, artists, managers, and internal stakeholders to align campaign strategies, communicate priorities, and ensure timely execution. Collaborate with in-house Design and New Media (video and motion) teams to develop creative campaign assets by submitting thorough creative briefs, coordinating production timelines, and securing necessary approvals. Create and manage design and media requests, ensuring creative assets are delivered accurately, on schedule, and aligned with campaign objectives. Assist in the execution of third-party marketing partnerships and promotional campaigns for assigned festivals and brands. Support the execution of on-site marketing initiatives, including media, social, influencer, and street team activations for assigned events. Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication across cross-functional teams and external partners throughout the campaign lifecycle. Stay informed on emerging marketing trends, social platforms, and industry best practices, applying new ideas and sharing actionable insights to drive innovative, forward-thinking campaigns. Use a personal vehicle to travel to business engagements as needed and travel out of town for business when required. Attend company events as required, including domestic and international travel for full-time employees. Work evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines and perform effectively under tight timelines and high-pressure environments. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in marketing, music, entertainment, or a related industry. Deep knowledge of electronic dance music, artists, genres, culture, and the Insomniac brand portfolio. Experience developing branded marketing copy while maintaining a consistent voice and tone. Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, adapt quickly to changing deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. Experience with marketing and project management tools such as Asana, Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, and basic HTML is preferred. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or outside of regular business hours as needed to support live events and time-sensitive marketing initiatives.
