The Senior EHS Specialist is responsible for is responsible for oversight and implementation of all Environmental Health, Safety and related regulatory requirements to ensure compliance, identify & resolve EHS gaps, and reduce risks. This position reports to the Global EHS Manager, is part of the Global EHS team, and works onsite at the IDT location in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead the EHS function for a combined manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and R & D site Lead and implement EHS Management System program activities such as EHS Program evaluations, compliance audits, corrective action plans, facilitating onboarding and ongoing training for associates. Lead risk assessments, safety observations, incident investigations, inspections, and corrective actions using DBS problem-solving tools to identify hazards, reduce risk, and strengthen a proactive safety culture. Manage environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements Monitor and maintain EHS performance, including tracking key performance indicators, trends and emerging regulations The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree required. At least three years of experience including experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or other regulated operations, with a working knowledge of applicable Cal/OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and related regulatory requirements. Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management to drive risk reduction and continuous improvement. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and engage associates and leaders at all levels while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel as required (up to 5%, including overnight stays) Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) first responder operations level Experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies. The annual salary range for this role is $83,000-$100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
