This 10-week Apex Finternship isn't a "shadow and take notes" gig. You'll tackle real business challenges, solve actual operational problems, and help shape how millions of people use financial services—through data and analysis. You'll join a cohort of 20 rising seniors for an intensive summer built to develop the next generation of SHARKs (our new grad program). SHARKS are Strategic. High-achieving. Always Reimagining Key Solutions. They're hungry to solve problems in their path. Expect hands-on strategy projects, financial modeling, client data analysis, and mentorship from people who've been in your shoes. Past placements include: Revenue Strategy Project Management (Revenue, Clients, Marketing) Client Services Business Development Market Risk Strategy & Analytics Data Analyst Operations Sales & Marketing Ops Comms & PR What You'll Do Own a real business project with actual deliverables and deadlines Analyze data (trades, assets, initiatives) to surface insights Dig into market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling Get paired with a mentor and take on weekly challenges that test your GREATness (Grit, Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Teamwork) Pitch your work to executives at FINTANK, our capstone showcase Why It's Worth It Real work from day one—not sideline observation Mentorship from current SHARKs Top Finterns get first dibs on full-time SHARK offers Tech & tools: Claude · Claude Code · Excel · Tableau/Power BI/Looker · JIRA · Salesforce · HubSpot · SQL/Python What We're Looking For Rising senior graduating December 2027–June 2028, available for the full 10-week commitment Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data/Business Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Information Technology, or related field Typically 3.0+ GPA (exceptional candidates with strong leadership encouraged to apply) Demonstrated business leadership through internships, projects, or initiatives Strong problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity and complex challenges Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills Genuine interest in fintech and financial services innovation Eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship Why Apex?
