Job description

Citi is looking for a Digital Onboarding Platform Product Manager to lead the transformation of client onboarding across Services, including Payments, Liquidity, Trade and Custody — reducing cycle times from weeks to days and delivering measurable impact for clients at a global scale. Sitting within Citi's Services organization, this high-profile role owns the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and delivery of a scalable digital onboarding platform, working across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to shape the future of online banking. If you thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and are energized by driving meaningful change through technology and product strategy, this is your opportunity to make a lasting mark. Responsibilities • Lead the development and execution of the digital onboarding platform roadmap, translating strategic objectives into prioritized, well-scoped initiatives with clear business cases and measurable KPIs. • Revolutionize the client onboarding experience across Payments, Liquidity, Trade and Custody by applying Straight Through Processing methodology powered by Data and Onboarding APIs, cutting cycle times from weeks to near real time. • Build scalable platform capabilities that support onboarding automation across product lines within Services, ensuring globally consistent and platform-agnostic delivery. • Manage and prioritize the product backlog across multiple agile scrum teams, crafting clear epics that bridge business requirements and technical delivery. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and subject matter experts using design-thinking methodology to co-create the target state onboarding experience for clients and internal teams. • Drive alignment on roadmap prioritization and target state vision with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders across technology, operations, and business functions. • Transform documentation processes through intelligent automation capabilities including auto-discovery, prefill, eSignatures, and digital lodgment to reduce manual effort and accelerate onboarding. • Analyze competitive landscapes, emerging financial technologies, and market trends to continuously inform and evolve the product strategy and innovation roadmap. Required Qualifications & Skills • 6–10 years of experience in product management, with a track record of owning and delivering complex digital products end to end. • Demonstrated ability to build and manage product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and orchestrate delivery across multiple teams in an agile environment. • Experience working on client onboarding automation, online banking portals, or digital platforms within financial services — specifically across Payments, Liquidity, Trade, Custody, and/or Cards. • Proven analytical capability — able to assess business requirements, evaluate competitive positioning, and translate insights into clear product decisions. • Effective communicator across all levels of seniority and varying degrees of technical expertise, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive consensus on complex topics. • Able to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, managing competing priorities and adapting quickly to changing requirements. • Commitment to sound risk awareness — identifying and escalating issues appropriately while upholding compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements. Beneficial Skills & Qualifications • Master's degree in a relevant field, complementing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification. • Familiarity with Straight Through Processing methodology, onboarding APIs, or data-driven automation in a financial services context. • Experience applying design-thinking principles in collaboration with UI/UX teams to shape end-user experiences. • Knowledge of emerging technologies and business model disruptors shaping the future of digital banking and financial services. What We Offer At Citi, you will work on some of the most strategically significant product challenges in global financial services — with the scale, resources, and cross-functional reach to deliver solutions that matter to clients worldwide. This is a role where ownership, ambition, and impact are valued and rewarded. • A hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely, giving you flexibility without sacrificing connection and collaboration. • Genuine ownership of a high-profile, globally scoped product domain — with the autonomy to shape direction and drive real outcomes. • Access to continuous learning and professional development opportunities to keep pace with innovation in financial technology and product management. • A performance-driven environment that recognizes your contribution and supports your long-term career progression. • Wellbeing support and financial benefits designed to help you manage and plan for the future with confidence. • The opportunity to collaborate with talented, globally distributed teams across technology, operations, and business — on work that directly improves client outcomes at scale.
