Responsibilities: What you’ll achieve In this position as Analyst, IT Data Center Operations, you will increase data center reliability and uptime by proactively identifying risks, executing infrastructure improvements and contributing to incident incident-prevention initiatives. You will also enhance operational efficiency through process optimization, automation opportunities and improvements that reduce turnaround time for deployments, maintenance or troubleshooting activities. You will: Rack, stack, install, configure, decommission, and replace servers, storage systems, and network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).Perform hardware diagnostics and component-level replacements (drives, memory, power supplies, NICs).Ensure equipment is installed according to data center standards and best practices.Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, application, and network connectivity issues.Maintain accurate asset inventory records and system documentation. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Strong understanding of server, storage, and networking hardwareFamiliarity with operating systems, basic networking concepts, and troubleshooting methodologiesExperience working in data center or mission-critical environments preferredMinimum 5 years’ experience working in data centersMust be willing and able to work weekend night shift (7pm-7am Fri, Sat, & Sun) Desirable Requirements Familiarity with DCIM tools, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and monitoring platforms Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, vendor hardware certifications) Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
