Tech Lead Manager, Google Analytics Gold Processing Backend

Act as a Tech Lead Manager (TLM) for a sub-team of approximately 6 software engineers, managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Shape the long-term technical goal and architectural strategy for our core data processing stack, with the flexibility to drive both infrastructure and product-focused initiatives. Partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Program Management, and Privacy working groups—to translate complex requirements into scalable engineering solutions. Design, develop, and evolve our high-scale, foundational data processing infrastructure to support next-generation features. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++. 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. Experience with production systems and storage systems. Experience with distributed processing. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction. Experience working with streaming products in FlumeC++. Experience with large-scale data processing. Experience with Bigtable, Colossus, Spanner, or Pubsub.
