As a Commodities Sales professional in our Commodities business, this candidate will be instrumental in developing and expanding client relationships across the broader commodities landscape. The candidate will provide complex structured, exotic, and vanilla hedging and risk management solutions as well as physical and financing solutions to a broad range of commodities clients. The ideal candidate will source liquidity and pricing for clients through an extensive network of market participants and counterparties. They will have the ability to produce daily written market commentary highlighting market activity, opportunities, and key developments for distribution to a global audience of investment professionals. Knowledge of internal and external trading platforms, electronic execution tools, and derivatives markets will be essential in advising clients and facilitating transactions. Key Skills and Experience Experience in metals markets (base and/or precious metals) is preferred but not required Responsible for the marketing and delivery of risk management solutions to clients across commodities markets, with a focus on the Americas Provide complex structured, exotic, and vanilla hedging and risk management solutions to a broad range of commodities clients Strong understanding of OTC derivatives products and markets Work to provide liquidity and pricing solutions across commodity products and markets Build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base, identifying opportunities to expand market share and deepen client engagement Maximum 3 years of professional experience WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between��$150,000 - $200,000 per year for Associate at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
