The Production Associate-Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products and components in accordance with established work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules. This role supports safe and efficient manufacturing operations by utilizing tools, equipment, and lean manufacturing principles to meet customer expectations. It contributes to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The Production Associate-Assembler reports to the Production Supervisor, is part of the Metals department located in DeLand, FL and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Safely and efficiently setup, assemble and test hydraulic vessels to specification requirements based on blueprints and work instructions. Troubleshoot and diagnose assembly concerns to minimize production loss. Perform preventive maintenance of all machinery in the required cells/department. Maintain accurate records and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering. The essential requirements of the job include: High school diploma or GED 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation in an industrial environment; consistency with maintaining necessary production goals. Ability to read and follow written work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality documentation; mechanical aptitude Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum 8 hours per day. Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs and work safely in a manufacturing environment. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Knowledge of hydraulic testing and pressure vessels. 3+ years’ experience with assembly of machined components. Experience with continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing.
