The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is looking for an administrative professional and/or recent graduate to fill an Administrative Support position in its Central Division Services team within the Treasury Service Division (TS). This position will provide general administrative support for the TS division staff and management. In this role you will support a division of 200+ staff members. TS serves as the Fiscal Agent for the US Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service supporting its Retail Program. Our division provides and supports various services for the issuing and redemption of US savings bonds and marketable securities. Essential Functions: Provides administrative support, which may include scheduling, meeting planning, making travel arrangements, routing/distributing mail, data entry, transcribing, proofreading, photocopying, scanning/imaging, preparing documents, and filing. Submits and tracks Facilities and IT Service requests. Assists with and supports equipment deployments and tracking. Collects, compiles, records, or otherwise gathers data and prepares standard reports with information necessary for decision-making. Maintains department key inventory and key inventory log Coordinates contractor, guest, and vendor visits with Law Enforcement, completes door access requests, and receives onsite deliveries and visitors on behalf of the Division. Responds to inquiries for information, gathers data, exchanges information, prepares routine and custom reports, and composes correspondence and e-mails. This activity may include updating and maintaining databases, websites, Sharepoint sites, and shared calendars and emails. Orders department office supplies and maintain department supply inventory. Performs specialized or confidential administrative duties. May participate in Division, Bank or Federal Reserve System project teams and workgroups. Completes special assignments as needed. May assist in preparing and/or revising communications, including proposals, reports, and presentations Performs other duties or responsibilities as needed or assigned. For advanced levels, may collect, enter, verify, and balance data in support of basic department accounting functions. May prepare standard accounting reports and reconcile recognition funding. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education with coursework in business or a related field preferred. Experience: Direct work-related experience or equivalent combination of higher education and experience. (Level I (1-3 years), Level II (3-5 years) & Level III (+ 5 years) Experience in business operations or financial environment preferred: Proficient using a variety of software applications including Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks and deadlines from multiple business lines, and adapt to shifting priorities Additional Information: * This position provides support for the Treasury fiscal agency functions, is risk rated MODERATE, and as such requires the incumbent be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident alien with at least three years of legal residency in any visa category. * The full salary range is $40,400-$50,559-$60,700 (Level I); $45,200-$56,513-$67,800 (Level II); $54,100 $67,650 $81,200 (Level III) The expected starting salary range is $45,000-$65,000. Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
