The pay range is $135,000.00 - $243,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As Director, Strategy & Ops - HR: Talent & Team Member Experience, you will play a critical role in shaping the way we plan, prioritize and deliver our portfolio of functions to the enterprise, inclusive of: Learning, Development, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs About you: Demonstrate ability to design, build, implement and lead a Strategy & Ops function with broad cross-functional scope inclusive of strategic planning, initiative tracking, in-take/workflow, operational routines/governance & continuous process improvements Strong communication & proven facilitation skills Proven ability to ruthlessly prioritize work, resources and time Establish relationships and draw connections that are most important to achieving goals Drive for simplicity and clarity, fostering alignment across teams and translating intent to action for the entire team Energized by ambiguity and comfortable leading your team, peers, partners and leaders through it Easily sees connections and strategic opportunities – and knows how to balance those with delivering on current priorities Skilled at holding team, partners, peers and leaders accountable to commitments Challenges status quo and consistently listens and learns from external + internal insights Strong aptitude for operational excellence, efficiency and data-driven decisions 5-10 years of HR, portfolio and/or project management experience strongly preferred This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
