Job description
Essential Responsibilities Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, saws, drill presses, and grinders. Build, modify, and repair fixtures, jigs, gauges, and tooling. Machine one-off and low-volume parts from drawings, sketches, or sample parts. Inspect completed work using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Troubleshoot tooling and fixture issues with Engineering and Production. Maintain equipment, tooling, records, and a clean, safe work area. Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years of manual machining experience preferred. Experience operating manual mills, lathes, and saws. Ability to read drawings and work with dimensions and tolerances. Experience using precision measuring tools. Strong mechanical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Aerospace or toolroom experience is preferred. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods, work around manufacturing equipment, and lift up to 40 pounds.
