Job Description Work Arrangement This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to GM Warren Global Technical Center three times per week, or as dictated by business needs. The Role The GMNA Order Fulfillment Manager, Volume Planning & Allocation, is responsible for leading the processes that translate production availability, dealer demand, and business priorities into executable vehicle allocation plans across the dealer networks in the United States, Canada and Export markets. This role brings together volume planning, consensus processes, STMI, Port Consensus, and Fulfillment Center activity. It also partners closely with GM Fleet, Field teams, Marketing, GMIT, GM Legal, and Demand Supply/Scheduling to support effective Order Fulfillment execution. The ideal candidate should bring experience working with GM divisions, field organizations, dealer operations, or related areas to help connect business needs with practical allocation solutions. What You’ll Do Lead the Volume Planning & Allocation team and maintain common U.S., Canada, and Export business processes for Estimated Shipments, Consensus, Variance Resolution, and Port Consensus. Determine split of current Consensus month’s estimated shipments into Cycle 1 and Cycle 2, and all STMI volumes. Equalize the estimated shipment volumes in each cycle to the extent possible. Calculate order requirements for the current and three subsequent Consensus months, partnering with Order Fulfillment Scheduling, and executive leadership to determine final U.S. and Canada retail estimated shipment volumes by allocation group. Manage build-out, start-up, launch, controlled allocation, production risk communication Manage planning calendars, consensus tracking, historical records, and related requirements; some weekend and late-night work may be required to support time-sensitive data and communications. Lead the STMI process and support Legal allocation challenges and state legislation through analysis, documentation retention, audit support, and maintenance of the ILM Record Identification Matrix. Represent the Allocation team in Launch, Vertical, EV Future Retail, and other cross-functional meetings; support IT portfolio submissions, system development projects, user acceptance testing, and sustainable process and technology improvements. Lead and develop the team in a hybrid environment, including training, staffing, communications, business continuity, compliance, access validation, and a professional workplace culture. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) 7+ years of management or demonstrated leadership experience in order fulfillment operations, GM divisions, Field organizations, dealer operations, or related business areas. Experience with GM applications such as Order Workbench, VOM, POMS, and SPA. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools. Must possess and maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in accordance with the licensing requirements of the states in which work is performed What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) MBA or equivalent work experience. Ability to work through complex problems under tight deadlines. Strong organizational, time-management, decision-making, critical-thinking, and analytical skills. Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Strong knowledge of GM products and customer requirements. Strong ability to collaborate effectively with business partners at all levels. Ability to ask critical questions and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables within a multiple-stakeholder model. Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners at all levels. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Experience with GM divisions, field organizations, dealer operations, or related areas is beneficial; strong operational, analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills are encouraged.
