Job Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Functional Lead to join our Digital Technology team and support enterprise-wide SAP Finance solutions across Collins Aerospace. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders, functional teams, technical experts, and global stakeholders to design, implement, enhance, and optimize SAP Finance solutions that support critical business processes. You will bring strong expertise across SAP FI, Record-to-Report, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Cash Management, along with a strong understanding of cross-functional SAP integration. This is an opportunity for an SAP Finance professional who can combine deep functional expertise, business understanding, solution design, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality solutions in a complex global aerospace environment. What You Will Do Design, configure, and implement SAP Finance solutions across FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, Bank Accounting, and Cash Management. Support R2R, AP, AR, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and financial reporting processes. Lead or contribute to SAP implementation, enhancement, S/4HANA, and change-request projects across requirements, design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Support FI/CO cutover, month-end/year-end activities, and production issue resolution. Manage cross-functional integration with MM, SD, PP, CO, and PS, working closely with ABAP and interface teams. Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, solve complex problems, and deliver scalable SAP solutions. Provide functional expertise, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive consensus on business solutions. Support project delivery, mentor team members, and collaborate with Digital Technology, Security, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams. Qualifications You Must Have 9+ years of relevant SAP experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, Engineering, STEM, or a related discipline. Strong hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI), including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Cash Management. Strong knowledge of R2R, financial reporting, month-end/year-end processes, and SAP FI implementation/support. Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and cutover activities. Strong cross-functional integration knowledge across FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP. Experience working with ABAP and interface teams. Strong problem-solving, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications We Prefer SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion experience. Experience with one or more full SAP implementation lifecycles. Experience working in customer-facing SAP consulting roles. Experience leading or contributing to 1–2 full SAP Finance project lifecycles. Strong experience in SAP solution architecture and functional design. Experience working in large global organizations or complex enterprise environments. Experience managing complex business requirements and driving consensus with middle and senior management. Experience mentoring junior consultants and leading cross-functional teams. Knowledge of aerospace industry processes and standards. Strong project management and change management experience. Experience working with global teams and stakeholders across multiple regions. Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
