Job Title: Portfolio Business Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Public Trust Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Portfolio Business Analyst (BA) at CACI International supporting NASA focuses on managing, aligning, and optimizing large collections of enterprise IT applications, digital platforms, or SAP/ERP systems. This work falls largely under major enterprise modernization initiatives like the $2 billion NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) contract. Responsibilities: • Portfolio & Requirements Management: Analyze and decompose complex agency-wide business and mission needs across multiple applications into clear, actionable functional requirements and user stories. • Process Optimization: Map "As-Is" and "To-Be" operational workflows, identify functional gaps, and streamline fragmented processes across multiple NASA centers. • Agile Delivery Coordination: Partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional Agile/SAFe teams to groom backlogs and accelerate software delivery. • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular syncs with NASA customer stakeholders to capture feedback, review system metrics, and track deliverable performance. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), functional design specifications, and compliance or status tracking artifacts. Qualifications: Required: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related business/technical discipline (equivalent experience considered). • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant systems or business analysis experience, preferably within federal or public sector IT environments. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery frameworks, requirements management tools (like Jira or ServiceNow), and data/process mapping. • Clearance/Trust: Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation. Desired: • Eight (8) years of relevant systems or business analysis experience, preferably within federal or public sector IT environments. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
