Business Systems Analyst

Job description

The Business System Analyst is responsible for reporting, data integrity, and testing to ensure security of data and compliance in terms of system functionality. This role is a subject matter expert on our dispatch systems, and internal reporting tools. Responsibilities: Configure, manage, maintain, and continuously improve the business application in support of business processEnsure that all applicable system features and functionality are leveragedProvide subject matter knowledge and problem-solving abilities Manage environment to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility, and recoverability of data.Day to Day monitoring and reporting on the use and utilization of and the quality of the data within the systemSupports application life cycle work which can include patching, upgrades, testing, etc.Develop and deliver user trainingIn-house, first level support to resolve application or data issuesDevelop and deliver ad hoc reporting in support of user community and leadershipWork with visual analytics tools to produce insight from operational system Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree preferred2-5 years of relevant experience Super user of Cognos and TMWDemonstrates high attention to detailAbility to multitask and pivot from one initiative to the nextCan manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skillsMust be team oriented and an independent self-starterExperience in Transportation & Logistics Industry would be considered an asset
