Glasses Manufacturing and Product Design Lead, XR Hardware

Job description

Lead the architecture, design, manufacturing, and validation of head-worn devices, including waveguide, display engines, and Rx lenses. Lead development and architecture efforts for miniaturization of novel mechanical and opto-mechanical subsystems, working with other system and cross-functional leads to arrive at robust and reusable designs optimized for consumer usage. Work to drive DFM and DFA efforts from early NTI to prototype to mass production, working closely with internal and external partners and contract manufacturers. Own and develop comprehensive requirements documents and tolerance stackup analyses to ensure performance and reliability of tightly constrained glasses through the conditions expected by mass production consumer hardware. Be an advocate for the team and be responsible for helping individuals grow and succeed.
