About the Role As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the technical implementation, configuration, and optimization of LexisNexis® Firco™ Continuity solutions for enterprise clients in regulated industries. You will be responsible to assist clients during the full lifecycle of the deployments, from solution design to solution deployment, advanced troubleshooting, security, and compliance integration. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, client-facing consulting skills, and a deep understanding of financial crime compliance and cloud-native architectures. Responsibilities Deployment & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end deployment of Firco™ Continuity Cloud Native solutions, including infrastructure preparation, installation, configuration, and validation. Configure and optimize Kubernetes clusters, persistent storage, container registries, and networking (Ingress, Service Mesh, etc.). Integrate and secure connections to RDBMS, IBM MQ, and web servers as required by client architecture. Implement and document best practices for high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery. Manage environment variables and configuration files for complex, multi-component deployments. Automate deployment and upgrade processes using scripts, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines. Database Management: Create, migrate, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases, including schema upgrades and plugin table management. Configure advanced database features such as connection pooling, isolation levels, and case-insensitive search. Implement secure authentication (Kerberos, encrypted credentials) and manage database access for multiple components. Messaging & Integration: Set up and configure IBM MQ, Kafka, and other messaging systems for reliable, secure communication between components. Integrate DAPR sidecar for pub/sub messaging, state management, and secret storage. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to message delivery, event processing, and distributed transactions. Security & Compliance: Implement and manage SSL/TLS, mTLS, and certificate-based authentication for all endpoints. Configure and maintain OAuth2, SAML, and LDAP authentication for user and API access. Ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific regulatory requirements. Manage user provisioning, roles, and permissions using APIs and identity providers. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up and monitor health checks, logging, and alerting all components. Diagnoses and resolve issues related to application performance, connectivity, and data integrity. Provide advanced troubleshooting support for DAPR, JVM, and containerized environments. Document and share best practices for issue resolution and system optimization. Client Engagement & Support: Collaborate with client teams, project managers, and product support to ensure successful project delivery. Provide training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support to client administrators and users. Stay current with evolving compliance, security, and financial messaging standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of technical implementation experience, ideally in enterprise, banking, or financial services environments. Operating Systems: Proficient in Unix (Linux Redhat, AIX, Solaris) and Windows Server environments. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), including multi-node cluster setup, namespace management, and persistent storage configuration Familiarity with clock synchronization and port management for multi-instance deployments. Databases: Strong knowledge of RDBMS and SQL, including Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server. Experience with database schema creation, migration, and advanced configuration (tablespaces, collation, isolation levels, connection pooling) Ability to run and troubleshoot vendor-specific scripts for schema upgrades and plugin tables.
