THE ROLE Insomniac is looking for a Seasonal Shuttle Coordinator to support the Exterior Operations team with the safe and efficient operation of festival shuttle loading and unloading areas. This is an entry-level, show-day focused position and a great opportunity to gain experience with festival operations. Shuttle Coordinators work directly with Headliners throughout the event, assisting with safely and efficiently loading and unloading guests on and off shuttle buses. Shuttle Coordinators are expected to provide a welcoming, energetic, and positive experience while maintaining an organized and safe shuttle environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Safely and efficiently assist with loading and unloading Headliners on and off shuttle buses. Provide friendly, professional, and enthusiastic customer service to Headliners throughout the event. Help maintain organized shuttle lines and direct Headliners to the appropriate buses and loading areas. Communicate clearly with Shuttle Leads, bus drivers, security, and other members of the Exterior Operations team. Assist with managing Headliner flow through shuttle loading and unloading areas. Monitor shuttle areas and promptly communicate operational, safety, or Headliner concerns to Exterior Operations team. Assist with setting up and breaking down shuttle queue lines, barricades, signage, and other shuttle-area infrastructure. Assist with placing directional and informational shuttle signage in the days leading up to the event. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all event safety procedures and instructions provided by Exterior Operations management. Remain flexible and assist with other Exterior Operations duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 or older Must be able to walk long distances for long periods of time, constantly moving and on feet Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Clean and presentable attire (show blacks) Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small. WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments May work in drastic temperature climates Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
