This Opportunity WSP is currently seeking a Calibration Technician to support various projects in the Atlanta, GA area. Your Impact Perform lab classification and index property testing of soilsPerform density testing of soilsSample and test concrete in the field and labPerform analysis or calculations to check accuracy, applicability and reasonableness of testing dataMonitor work procedures for compliance with project specificationsWill travel within and around 2 hours of the cityProficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.• Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience. Who You Are Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required0-2 years of related experience on variety of complex projects preferredCertifications might include a combination of ICC soils, ACI concrete, ICC concrete reinforcing steel, and ICC masonry.Valid Driver’s License requiredReliability – must be able to arrive at designated project sites prior to scheduled timesAbility to prepare reports and documentationAbility to travel and work overtime as neededAbility to work in variable outside conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Must pass drug test, physical, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy#LI-GD1
