Senior Software Engineering Manager, Agentic Policies Platform

Job description

Inspire, manage, and grow a talented team of software engineers, fostering an open environment while actively guiding their career development. Provide end-to-end technical leadership for complex projects, overseeing requirements, design, implementation, testing, launch, and support. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (PMs, TPMs, and Engineering Leads) to define and execute a compelling long-term goal and product strategy. Drive the planning and delivery of large-scale, infrastructure systems within a changing environment. Build and operate hyper-reliable infrastructure to deliver fast, intuitive, and always-correct access control for GCP customers. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go. 5 years of experience in people management, including managing software engineers. 3 years of experience managing other managers. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field. 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. Demonstrated experience using agile methodologies and tooling. Familiarity with Identity, Authentication or Security.
