Position Summary : The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills. Key Position Functions: • Preparation of samples using standard techniques • Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure samples volumes and weights • Prepare standards • Maintain scientific logbooks • Responsible for general housekeeping in work area • Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures Basic Minimum Qualifications: AA, AS, or BS in science or related field Basic laboratory experience preferred but not required Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable.
