Software Engineer III, Infra, Core Communications

Job description

Design, develop, testi, and deploy high-performance backend services and APIs. Contribute to critical modernization projects, helping to simplify and re-architect core components of our platform. Collaborate with client teams and product partners across Google to understand requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions. Take ownership of features and components from initial design through to launch. Analyze and improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the platform. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience developing accessible technologies.
