About the Role We are seeking a Staff Product Designer (P5) who can lead high-impact product design work across multiple teams, connect adjacent product experiences and turn complex problem spaces into coherent shipped outcomes. You have spent 8+ years designing complex digital products, ideally including SaaS, B2B, platform, workflow-heavy, AI-enabled or similarly sophisticated product experiences. As a staff individual contributor, you will operate across product areas where the right solution depends on more than one roadmap, team or feature brief. You will partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Design leadership and customer-facing teams to frame the right problems, define product experience direction and help teams move from ambiguity to high-quality execution. This role requires exceptional craft, strong product judgment and the ability to balance strategic influence with hands-on design work. You should be comfortable defining experience direction, mapping complex workflows, prototyping new interaction models, strengthening shared patterns and helping teams preserve quality through implementation. Design systems are an important part of this role, but not the whole role. You will use systems, patterns, accessibility standards and reusable components to connect product experiences while still leading original, customer-centered design work for high-impact product areas. Experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis or workflow acceleration is mandatory. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. What You'll Do Lead design strategy and execution for complex initiatives that span multiple teams, product surfaces or customer workflows Translate customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, data signals and product strategy into clear experience direction Partner with product and engineering leaders to clarify problem spaces, sequence design work and align teams around high-quality outcomes Create prototypes, workflows, interaction models and high-fidelity designs that make complex product ideas tangible and testable Identify product experience gaps, design debt and cross-team inconsistencies, then turn them into practical improvements Shape AI-enabled workflows, intelligent interfaces and automation-heavy experiences that give customers clarity, control and confidence Strengthen shared patterns, design-system adoption, accessibility standards and implementation guidance across adjacent product areas Mentor senior and lead designers through critique, coaching, product judgment, storytelling and strong design rationale Collaborate effectively across US and India time zones in a 100% remote environment What We Are Looking For 8+ years of relevant product design experience, leading complex, ambiguous and high-impact initiatives across multiple teams or product areas An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates staff-level craft, product judgment, customer empathy, systems thinking, measurable impact and shipped product quality Experience shaping product direction beyond a single feature or team, with the ability to connect adjacent workflows into coherent customer experiences Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with deep care for hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, accessibility, content quality and implementation detail Proven experience across the design lifecycle, including research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content strategy and usability testing Strong prototyping fluency, including the ability to use Figma, Framer, AI coding tools or lightweight front-end code to make complex ideas tangible Experience designing AI-powered, automation-heavy or intelligent product experiences where customers need transparency, control, trust and useful guidance Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns and scalable product experience decisions Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work fluently with product managers, engineers, data partners, customer-facing teams, senior stakeholders and other designers Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to align teams through customer insight, business rationale, data, prototypes and craft A collaborative, low-ego leadership style with a track record of mentoring designers, improving critique and raising standards How You Work You move
