Job description

Job responsibilitiesDesigns, codes, tests, and delivers secure, high-quality production code for reusable frameworks, SDKs, and tools adopted by engineering teams across the enterprise Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex components and ensures security, resiliency, and observability constraints are met in every release Builds components to be AI-native with agent interfaces, CLIs, and documentation that let agents and LLMs consume them Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation Instruments components with metrics, logs, and traces so adopters inherit an observable, secure-by-default baseline out of the box Gathers and analyzes data on component adoption and health to drive continuous improvement and proactively surface hidden problems Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and helps teams onboard to platform components Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python Experience developing and maintaining code in a large enterprise environment Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security Demonstrated knowledge of a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPractical cloud-native experience and exposure to infrastructure as code Experience building or consuming SDKs, developer tooling, or AI-native interfaces Genuine interest in developer experience and building software that other engineers build on
