About the job Position : Software Engineer Type : Contract Compensation : $27/hr Location : Remote Commitment : 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Contribute to product-level software engineering tasks across real-world codebases and development workflows. Write, debug, test, and maintain scalable and clean code across assigned projects. Collaborate with distributed teams to support development, optimization, and implementation tasks. Analyze software issues and contribute to improving application performance and reliability. Work with version control systems and follow standard software development practices. Support AI-related engineering initiatives through coding, evaluation, and technical problem-solving. Requirements 1+ year of professional or equivalent hands-on software engineering experience. Experience contributing to product-level codebases through internships, full-time roles, or significant projects. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms. Exposure to debugging, testing, and writing maintainable code. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and standard software development workflows.
