About The Opportunity The Quality Clerk supports daily quality assurance and control operations in the warehouse by performing audits routine audits and inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished goods. This role ensures compliance with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with production, warehousing, and quality teams, the Quality Clerk helps maintain accurate records, manages product samples, supports First Article builds, and ensures the highest level of product integrity. This role is essential in helping the company meet our customers’ expectations. The core hours for this position are 2:30PM - 11:00PM, M-F with some flexibility to troubleshoot issues on the weekends. Essential Functions: 1.Monitor and complete start-up inspection of sample pallet 2.Assist the Quality Lead/Quality Manager in any capacity necessary 3.Assist in training new quality assurance personnel 4.Complete hourly inspection of production lines 5. Complete required documentation and processes correctly and thoroughly 6.Independently or with minimum supervision write routine reports, correspondence and prepare various levels of documents and reports, complete required documentation correctly and thoroughly 7. Assist with auditing job work packets for accuracy prior to releasing them to production to proceed 8. Assist in conducting root cause analysis investigations for nonconforming processes or product 9. Represent the Quality Department in a positive and consistent manner 10.Follow, train, and enforce company processes and procedures 11.Occasionally participate in and/or facilitate internal/external audits 12.Responsible for releasing finished production including verification of all document completeness 13.Create UPC labels based on item numbers to generate bar codes 14.Distribute all printed labels to the appropriate line leads 15.Manage the transfer of variances from weekly reports to SAP variances sheet along with investigations 16.Responsible for releasing finished production including verification of all document completeness 17.Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements 18.Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures 19.Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines 20. Maintain cleanliness and organization in Quality areas 21. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors 22. The anticipated hourly range for the position is $16.90 - $22.00, depending on experience and qualifications. 23. This position is also eligible for a success share bonus and benefits package Qualifications: Prefer three to five years related experience or training in warehouse production Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively (both in writing and verbally) with persons in a wide variety of roles, including individuals associated with subject matter, relaying findings to other quality representatives, and relaying detailed instructions to a variety of individuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Accustomed to working under tight deadlines Ability to effectively handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks, while maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy and organization Ability to communicate accurately to instruct others how to carry out detailed instructions (both verbal and written) Ability to analyze information gathered to maintain accurate and detailed records using both computerized and manual means Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to establish and maintain very effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work Ability to read and write using the English language Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting Frequent walking and standing required Occasional lifting up to 25 to 50 lbs.
