As Senior Director, you will shape the strategy, elevate technical excellence, and drive innovation across key sectors including transportation, healthcare, institutional, industrial, and commercial buildings—while building lasting client relationships and empowering high-performing teams. Your Impact Drive regional strategy for M&E services, aligning delivery with WSP’s national vision and evolving market demandsLead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex engineering projects with excellence, efficiency, and complianceChampion technical excellence by guiding advanced M&E system design, digital innovation, and sustainable solutionsStrengthen client partnerships by building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and industry bodies across the regionExpand market presence by identifying growth opportunities aligned with WSP’s strategic prioritiesDevelop future leaders through mentorship, succession planning, and talent development initiativesOversee major pursuits and projects ($1M+) while contributing to steering committees on high-value engagementsCollaborate locally and nationally with M&E leaders to drive consistency, innovation, and best practicesThe Skills That Set You Apart Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation15+ years of progressive experience in M&E engineering, including senior leadership rolesMechanical or Electrical engineering direct experience in transportation and aviation projects.Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering projectsStrong business and commercial acumen with proven client-facing experienceDeep technical expertise in M&E systems and building design practicesEstablished industry presence, including engagement with organizations such as ASHRAE, ACEC, ASPEAbility to lead high-performing teams and influence across a matrix organization Compensation:AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $177,000 - 234,000 MB & ON: $161,500 - 222,300 NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: 159,900 - 212,300 Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
