Job description
Contribute to operations, maintenance, and repairs of non-production facilities systems. Assist executive technicians (e.g., assess a systems' working order or read blueprints/schematics). Follow approved procedures and acquire knowledge of procedural development processes. Assist in the resolution of tickets and work orders. Acquire knowledge of work order and ticket workflow. Complete all assigned training as scheduled. Be available to work on shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in mechanical/heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), or electrical. Experience with mechanical maintenance, mechanical infrastructure systems, mechanical testing, mechanical contractors, chillers, electric motors, pump systems, cooling systems, water chemistry, or HVAC. Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment, the required use of OSHA standard safety equipment such as limited weight bearing work platforms, ladders, step stools and personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety harnesses. Ability to work non-standard hours. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree, trade school certification, or related training program certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., CMCO, SMT, etc.). Experience at an apprenticeship or in a technician level role in a critical environment. Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on-call. Comfortable performing repetitive technical and manual work.
