Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, Lab Science

Job description

Collaborate with research teams, as well as cross-functional partners (Product Management, User Experience, Technical Program Management (PM, UX, TPM) across and outside of Labs. Contribute to and drive parts of the overall product and engineering roadmap. Develop functional product features with full-stack development though back-end only work is fine as well. Build deep understanding of language and multi-modal technologies and approach to applying them in the product’s context. Prototype AI solutions for new product features, and support landing them in production. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in Java or Kotlin. Experience in launching software, hardware, or digital technology products to market. Experience diagnosing, debugging, and resolving technical issues in a software or hardware environment. Experience in developing and maintaining back-end, front-end, or full-stack software applications. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience developing accessible technologies.
