The pay range is $64,000.00 - $128,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is merchandised and available accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The job of General Merchandise and Food Sales teams is to lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work. The Inbound team are experts at unloading trailer deliveries and preparing the merchandise to be stocked on the sales floor. The role of Inbound Operations Executive Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of: Guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest-first culture on your team Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies Setting and planning department(s) monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities and managing a team to deliver on sales goals Knowledge of the competition; leveraging insights to drive business objectives Managing a team of team leaders and creating business specific strategies and goals Recruiting, selecting and talent management of hourly team members and leaders As an Inbound Operations Executive Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: Consistently delivers guest experience commitments Holds TLs accountable to deliver exceptional guest experiences through consistent accountability, team development, training and recognition. Celebrates outstanding guest experiences across teams and ensures recognition is consistent and meaningful. Reviews area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify gaps and understand team behaviors. Celebrates wins, sets clear priorities, and leads actions that drive results and enhance the guest experience. Partners across teams to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience. Lead and create a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience; model, train, and coach Team Leaders on expectations to deliver the service standard. Drive total store sales, demonstrate how you and your team contribute to and impact total store profitability. Safely and efficiently unload merchandise trailers and prepare product for merchandising on the salesfloor. Build and manage the team to be experts in operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all inbound processes, including sort, stock and organizing and storing reserve product. Develop a strategy and utilize your workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready at store open. Create a scheduling plan with information provided by your Team Leaders based on monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic. Manage all GM backroom and sales floor areas, review all reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve any issues identified. Enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is available for purchase. Plan, manage and follow-up on organizational and operational change. Anticipate short-term and long-term staffing needs and manage talent planning and recruitment. Establish and maintain a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management. Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment. Develop and lead the safety culture and performance of the department through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately. Lead an instore security culture by focusing on deterrence, response and resolution in order to improve physical security processes. Lead merchandise protection strategies across the total store, including ordering, storage and application as directed by best practices. Create, lead, and model a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding, learning, and required training; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions.
