Senior Program Manager Location / Division Specific Information [Insert location and division-specific information, if applicable.] How will you make an impact? The Senior Program Manager will lead strategic initiatives and complex, enterprise-level programs that span multiple functions, customers, divisions, and/or business areas. This role provides leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams and other Project or Program Managers while ensuring successful execution against business objectives. The Senior Program Manager is accountable for overall program performance, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key interface with customers, vendors, executive stakeholders, and project sponsors, driving alignment, communication, risk management, and continuous improvement throughout the program lifecycle. What will you do? Lead and facilitate strategic initiatives and large, multi-faceted, enterprise-level projects. Ensure project requirements and objectives are accurately gathered, understood, translated, and executed. Build and lead cross-functional project teams aligned to program goals and objectives. Collaborate with internal and external customers from requirements gathering through product acceptance. Establish program milestones, goals, objectives, and performance expectations in partnership with functional teams and key stakeholders. Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, KPIs, metrics, and risk-management plans. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to project teams and Project or Program Managers to achieve program objectives and corporate initiatives. Communicate program objectives in alignment with overall strategic business goals. Serve as a primary interface for customers, vendors, stakeholders, and project sponsors. Develop creative and effective solutions to address critical customer and business needs. Monitor program performance against established KPIs, scope, quality, schedule, and cost requirements. Obtain, analyze, and summarize current project information and milestone status compared to established performance baselines. Drive project and program activities to completion in accordance with established schedules. Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop integrated project plans, risk analyses, and mitigation strategies. Manage resource capacity, project assignments, and time tracking for enterprise-level programs. Manage and analyze program financials, including Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs), travel, training, resource allocation, and other program-related costs. Forecast project budgets and labor requirements based on current and future business and site needs. Maintain accountability for overall program success, including cost, schedule, quality, scope, and resource management. Balance program requirements, cost, schedules, and timelines to achieve desired business outcomes. Communicate program status, issues, risks, solutions, evaluations, and assessments to leadership and key stakeholders. Provide leaders with regular updates and identify significant opportunities for improvement. Identify potential issues and variances from established plans and implement appropriate corrective and alternative solutions. Identify cost-reduction opportunities by streamlining processes and systems, including modifying responsibilities, consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added activities, and re-engineering processes and systems. Provide stakeholders with regular performance updates, variances to plan, and recommended corrective actions. Promote the exchange of ideas and information across departments and Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization. Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis, reporting, and effective metrics management. Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service by anticipating and exceeding expectations, resolving issues quickly and effectively, and prioritizing customer needs. Coach and guide others through complex or difficult decision-making situations. Design and facilitate training associated with the implementation of enterprise initiatives. Engage and collaborate with Jabil customers and stakeholders to develop a deeper understanding of business needs and expectations. Drive relevant, concise, and effective communication through a variety of communication channels. Develop clear and consistent messages for diverse audiences, ensuring communications are relevant and effective. Partner with Communications, stakeholders, and management to remain informed of key company initiatives and evaluate program effectiveness and business impact. Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How will you get here? Education Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Experience Minimum of 6 years of related work experience in project management, program management, or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered.
