Our challenge Product / Pricing Lead with Commercial Lending domain expertise to lead the discovery, design, and implementation of a strategic Product Pricing Engine. The role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, lending operations, treasury, finance, and technology teams to define pricing strategy, document decision logic, prioritize MVP capabilities, and drive business acceptance Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC/Pennington, NJ is $145k - $150k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Define MVP scope, roadmap, and feature prioritization. Drive pricing outcomes, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment. Discover and document current-state pricing rules, logic, and decision models. Provide SME expertise in Commercial Lending products, relationship pricing, profitability, FTP, and risk-based pricing. Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and pricing rules. Lead UAT, business validation, and stakeholder sign-offs. Requirements: Experience with PrecisionLender (Q2 Precision), nCino, Nomis, Zafin, or similar pricing platforms. Experience in Product Management, Pricing Strategy, Business Analysis, or Commercial Lending within Banking and Financial Services. Strong domain expertise in Commercial Lending products, loan structuring, relationship pricing, profitability management, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and risk-based pricing. Proven experience leading pricing transformation, pricing engine implementation, or lending platform modernization initiatives. Demonstrated ability to define product vision, MVP scope, roadmap, feature prioritization, and business value realization. Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, pricing governance, decision models, pricing rules, and commercial banking product lifecycle management. Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, pricing logic, and decision-making frameworks. Expertise in translating business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and functional requirements. Proven experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs in Agile/Scrum environments. Ability to collaborate effectively with Commercial Lending stakeholders, Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations, Product Management, and Technology teams. Strong knowledge of loan profitability, return-on-capital metrics, customer relationship pricing, and portfolio pricing strategies. Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and executive-level decision-making discussions. Hands-on experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, product demonstrations, and stakeholder sign-off processes. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements within Commercial Banking and Lending environments. Experience working with pricing engines, loan origination systems, CRM platforms, or commercial banking technology solutions is highly preferred. Preferred, but not required: MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related discipline. Experience leading enterprise-wide pricing strategy and commercial lending transformation programs. Knowledge of profitability analytics, customer segmentation, and revenue optimization frameworks. Prior experience working with Treasury, Credit Risk, and Finance organizations to establish pricing policies and governance. Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), CBAP, or PMP are a plus. Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. We offer: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
