KBR is seeking a Senior Program Manager to provide acquisition support to the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Robins Air Force Base. The candidate should be experienced and successful at solving complex programmatic issues, enjoy working in a dynamic, responsive, and collaborative environment, and be dedicated to the success of our customers. This position will support acquisition and program management efforts being conducted by the Electronic Warfare Division at Robins Air Force Base. The candidate will work supporting the Division's Risk Management Program, supporting risk management activities associated with its acquisition planning and execution. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will provide risk management analysis and deliverables to support programs across the Division portfolio. The candidate will analyze, track, and report program risk identification and mitigation efforts and report on progress. They will assist Government Program Managers by identifying risks, developing robust risk mitigation or avoidance strategies, then managing/tracking risk mitigation plans through completion. Mitigation plans to be managed/tracked include those across the full programmatic spectrum of management, engineering, logistics, financial management, and contracting activities. Risk Management activity support will include issue resolution, whether or not the issue is designated to be managed under the formal risk management program. The successful candidate will support program design reviews, configuration management boards, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, financial reviews and other meetings as necessary to support risk and program management activities. Required Qualifications: - BS /BA in engineering, science or business administration - 10 years of experience directly related to the position -Clearance requirement: Top Secret - Comprehensive experience and knowledge of current USAF weapon system management processes, policies, and procedures. ACAT I/II/III Program Manager functions - A good working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management Guide for Defense Acquisition Programs practices and principles is required. - DAWIA Program Management Practitioner certification or equivalent - Knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and AFLCMC Policies, Processes, and Procedures - Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision - Key management skills required: Problem solving, critical and creative thinking, conflict resolution, multi-tasking, clear and well-organized verbal and written communication skills. - Candidate must possess strong computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to travel Work Environment: Location: On-Site, Warner-Robins, GA Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20% Working Hours: Standard Desired Qualifications: - Masters degree - 20+ years of experience in DoD weapon system management is strongly desired - Five (5) years minimum experience as an ACAT I/II Program Manger is strongly desired - DAWIA Program Management Advanced certification or equivalent - Familiarity with a variety of risk management software tools is desired - Experience at multiple Air Force or DoD centers - Program Management Level III DAWIA certification or equivalent - Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening) - Proficiency in developing presentations (PowerPoint) and formal written documents.
