Software Engineer, Spanner Graph Intelligence

Job description

Design and develop native capabilities to extract data intelligence (e.g., Graph Algorithms, GNN, Knowledge Graph Construction) on Spanner Graph, enable relationship-aware AI/ML. Design and develop GraphRAG solutions on Spanner Graph to help LLMs/agentic flows with accurate and cost-effective reasoning in context. Partner and work closely with internal and external customers to understand/predict graph intelligence needs and create solutions. Leadd production maintenance and support. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of coding experience in one or more of the following languages: C++, C, or Rust. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Experience with distributed computing, big data analytics, cloud computing, multi-tenant cloud, or AI. Experience with Distributed Databases, Database Internals, Query Processing, and Query Optimization. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. Experience working with or developing database technology, including graph queries, SQL, query engines. Experience developing graph algorithms. Cloud experience (GCP).
