Your Impact We're looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our Experience Research team. This role is designed for an early-career researcher who is passionate about understanding customers and eager to develop expertise across the full research lifecycle. As an Associate Experience Researcher, you'll work closely with senior researchers, research operations, and cross-functional partners to support research studies, synthesize findings, maintain our insights ecosystem, and help ensure customer intelligence is accessible across the organization. You will help identify business and research goals while working across multiple product areas, where you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of user problems, research methods, and strategic initiatives. This role offers broad exposure to qualitative and quantitative research, customer intelligence, insight management, and emerging AI-enabled research practices while providing structured development opportunities. What You'll Do Support Research Studies Assist with planning and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies Coordinate participant recruitment and scheduling Prepare research materials, surveys, discussion guides, and study logistics Take notes and assist with data collection activities Run interviews and usability tests Synthesize and Organize Insights Assist with qualitative coding and thematic analysis Summarize findings from interviews, surveys, and user feedback Draft research findings and insight summaries Help transform research outputs into reusable organizational knowledge Contribute to Customer Intelligence Support the organization and tagging of research findings Support maintenance of the research repository content and metadata Draft clear, engaging artifacts to make research findings actionable for stakeholders Help ensure customer feedback and research findings are discoverable and actionable Influence action through research recommendations Support Continuous Learning and Innovation Learn and apply research methodologies Participate in research critiques and team learning sessions Explore AI-assisted research workflows and tools Contribute ideas for improving research processes and team effectiveness Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field. 0–2 years of experience in UX research, customer research, market research, or a related discipline Understanding of basic qualitative and quantitative research methods Strong written and verbal communication skills Build strong cross-functional relationships Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to synthesize information and identify patterns Curiosity about customer behavior and user needs Why Cisco? Message to applicants applying to work in the U.S. and/or Canada: The starting salary range posted for this position is $112,200.00 to $162,200.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.
