This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a passionate, collaborative, and accomplished team of experts, you will provide high-impact administrative and operational support for the New Glenn business unit. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of New Glenn execution and operations by enabling leaders and teams to operate efficiently and focus on their most critical work. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities may include: • Calendar & Priority Management – Manage complex calendars across time zones, prioritize meetings, resolve conflicts, and rebalance 1:1s and lower-priority meetings in favor of higher-impact work. • Travel & Expense – Coordinate domestic and international travel, including airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and onsite logistics. Process expense reports • Meeting Preparation & Events – Prepare materials and context for key meetings and reviews. Plan and execute logistics for org meetings, site visits, and team-building events, including venue, catering, and onsite support. • Information Flow & Org Enablement – Ensure decisions, actions, and updates are communicated to VPs, their directs, and extended teams. Serve as a knowledgeable “guidepost” on policies, purchasing, travel, expenses, and internal tools, promoting a self-service culture. • Systems, Process & Automation – Create and maintain trackers and simple processes that support smooth org operations (e.g., leadership cadences, events, seating and moves). Act as an early adopter and advocate for productivity, AI, and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 and workflow platforms), identifying opportunities to streamline administrative work and sharing best practices with other admins. • Workplace & Space Planning – Serve as a point of contact for seating and employee moves across sites. Gather and clarify requirements, develop scenarios aligned with headcount and org changes, coordinate execution with Facilities and other business units, and communicate plans, timelines, and impacts to affected teams and leadership. • Special Projects – Provide administrative support for special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed. • Employee engagement: Participate in planning and executing employee engagement activities to foster a positive work environment Skills & Qualifications: Required • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with employees at all levels. • Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling highly confidential and sensitive information. • Proven ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion and collaboration. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and comfort learning new tools and systems. • Ability to work fully onsite at our Kent, WA location, with occasional travel to other Blue Origin sites as business needs require. • 3 years of administrative, office management, facilities coordination, or related experience. • Ability to leverage AI tools to increase efficiency and accuracy • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired • 3 years of administrative experience with increasing scope and responsibility. • Experience in aerospace, technology, manufacturing, or other complex, engineering-driven environments. • Experience serving as a primary point of contact for seating, space planning, or employee moves in partnership with Facilities. • Familiarity with Concur, Navan, and common facilities or ticketing systems. • Experience using or building basic automations or workflows (e.g., Power Automate, PowerApps, or similar tools). • Experience mentoring or enabling other administrative professionals and driving consistency in administrative processes.
