As a Sr Planning Manager / S&OP here at Honeywell Technologies, you will play a critical role in driving the 5 step S&OP process, end to end Supply Chain Planning, S&OE processes and key initiatives to achieve revenue, margin and cash flow goals for the businesses that you support. You will develop close connections to the commercial partners in the businesses and lead a team of supply chain planning professionals. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment to key business strategies and objectives. Your expertise in planning and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving significant business growth and competitiveness. In addition, this team is undergoing a transformation in it’s processes and tools, this role will be a key architect & change leader to ensure that those changes are effective and sustainable. You will report directly to VP Supply Chain for our Process Technologies (PT) division, and you'll work along with the business partners in our Allentown, PA, Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, and Palmetto, FL locations on a hybrid work schedule with 3 or more days per week in the office. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the business through support of all growth initiatives, creation of a robust pipeline of working capital & cost savings improvements, and drive initiatives that increase our planning capabilities. Your expertise in the 5 step S&OP process will drive process maturity improvements that will be visible in our annual S&OP assessment. This position leads are planning activities including demand planning, production planning, inventory control, material planning, supporting a specific global business unit. This business is planning Engineer to Order products in a discrete manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead informal team of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management to over deliver key metrics & execute with excellenceDrive alignment between Planning and all other supply chain & commercial teams to achieve success and ensure business is setup for Significant GrowthOptimize internal processes to improve S&OP process maturity to level 4“Conduct the orchestra” across end to end supply chain for this business to ensure achievement of doubling our business, including partnering with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, etc.Facilitate the 5-step process for S&OP/IBP for rolling 24-36 months and also ensure an effective S&OE exists for immediate termPartner with the Business & Functional leaders to ensure our global supply chain is designed to deliver exceptional results for our customersMonitor demand, supply, inventory, and material requirement plansResponsible to lead all Business Continuity Plans for the planning function to deliver risk mitigation plans and ensure quick recovery from any crisis or disaster situationsEnsure delivery of inventory targets, PFEP, and reduction of aged inventoryDevelop and drive the talent pipeline for planning roles, including mentoring and coaching upcoming talent Streamline work through digital transformation, implementation of new APS and ERP systemsConnect back with Planning COE at the PT level to ensure adherence to all Global Design Models in accordance with Honeywell Accelerator framework Qualifications: YOU MUST HAVE 10+ years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Management and Materials ManagementProven track record in leading a 5 step S&OP process for commercial businessStrong leadership and people management skills Demonstrated transformational leadership experience to support accelerating growth and dynamic mergers & acquisition environment 5+ years of experience in SAP MRP and ERP, preferably on Engineer to Order/ Deal based business in discrete manufacturing environment WE VALUE Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related fieldExecutive presence to make compelling presentations to executive leadership International experience with exposure to high-growth regions Passion for driving continuous improvement/lean six sigmaPassion for developing and coaching teams Cross-functional experience in planning, engineering/technology, operations, supply chainCollaboration skills to Win Together with other cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery to customers ABOUT HONEYWELL TECHNOLOGIES Honeywell Technologies is a global, pure-play automation company with a legacy of innovating to help solve the world’s most mission-critical challenges, enhancing the quality of life for people and communities around the world.
