Production Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities: • Direct the operations of employees throughout the production department. • Review and approve all production schedules. • Control operating costs and capital, including maximizing operating efficiencies and production rates. • Ensure that products are produced in accordance with quality specifications and maintain efficient production processes. • Accomplish manufacturing employee results by effectively communicating job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. • Enforce all systems, policies, and procedures while coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when deemed necessary. • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all employees work safely. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: • BS in Business or Engineering preferred • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 1 – 2 years managing people or projects. • Proven knowledge and application of ERP/MRP systems. • Proven knowledge and application of lean manufacturing concepts. • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. • Proficient computer skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
