Job description
Performing analytical testing using instrumentation including, but not limited to, Cell Culture, pH, Conductivity, Bioreactors, Autoclave; may use analytical methods including, but not limited to, Statistically analyzing large data sets and drafting technical reports to support commercial filings; participating in investigations; documenting test results in notebooks and reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate Applies to the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration Regular attendance and punctuality Conduct routine analytical testing with good dexterity, good laboratory techniques, and high degree of accuracy and precision Document test parameters, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation Read and understand analytical procedures (compendia and client supplied) and internal SOPs Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures Participate in conducting investigations when assigned Perform laboratory maintenance and housekeeping as assigned Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences field. Ability to perform laboratory tasks requiring manual dexterity and precision. Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and quality.
