As a Vice President in the Risk Management team, you lead the development and execution of risk criteria for retail overdraft and connected commerce collection and recovery. Job responsibilities: Develop and execute risk management criteria for retail overdraft and connected commerce collectionsOversee collection and recovery processes to ensure effective outcomesConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measuresEstablish and maintain policies and procedures for compliance and best practicesMonitor and analyze key performance indicators, reporting insights to senior managementLead and mentor risk management professionals, fostering continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams for holistic risk management strategiesIntegrate advanced analytics and technology solutions to enhance processesEnsure compliance with relevant laws and regulationsArticulate the impact of risks and issues on business functionsInfluence business leaders with clear communicationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Understanding of account lifecycle, including underwriting, portfolio management, and collectionsDetailed knowledge of key performance metrics and profitability driversBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience in credit risk management with focus on overdraft and/or connected commerce collection and recoverySolid functional knowledge in credit risk strategy, business development, product development, and project managementUnderstanding of cross-functional dependencies to support risk appetiteAbility to articulate business impacts of risks and issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to translate business problems into technical solutionsSAS or equivalent data mining expertisePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 7+ years of financial services experience in risk management, controls, audit, quality assurance, or complianceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA, FRM, JD) preferredExtensive experience in risk management, especially in collection and recoveryProven track record in developing and implementing collection and recovery strategiesStrong analytical skills for interpreting complex dataExcellent leadership and team management abilities
