Role Summary In this role, the individual will lead and oversee a team of Senior and Lead Financial Advisors, providing strategic direction and day-to-day leadership across Advisory Services. They will be responsible for managing multiple teams through subordinate managers, or a large team of professionals, within the department, ensuring that advice and recommendations delivered to clients are compliant, appropriate, and aligned with both client needs and firm standards. This leader will play a key role in mitigating risk to both clients and the firm by maintaining strong oversight of advisory practices and reinforcing a culture of accountability and sound judgment. In addition, they will provide ongoing coaching, training, and guidance to staff, helping to develop talent, strengthen team performance, and ensure that performance expectations and business objectives are consistently achieved. Responsibilities Makes recommendations to senior management regarding the Advisory Services strategy. Responsible for the satisfaction of new and existing clients once new investment strategies are implemented and carried out within an assigned area. Implements and informs lower-level staff of the suite of advice solutions that are approved and can be recommended to clients. Manages associated resources for the services and solutions offered by Advisory Services within an assigned business unit. Assists with creating reports on utilization and profitability of advice offers for senior management. Begins to build a deep understanding of the environment and competitive landscape regarding trends for offers, pricing, and positioning. Partners with peers to help cascade knowledge as needed for business partner support. Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff/management, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to build and sustain a team culture of efficiency and quality. Accountable for the financial and human resources of a large department/multiple departments to include budgeting, staffing resources, etc. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 8+ years of total relevant work experience and 2+ years of management experience FINRA Licenses 7 & 66 CFP achieved Preferred: Demonstrated ability to effectively execute against a defined strategic vision. Advanced experience across wealth management disciplines, including but not limited to estate planning and investment management. Proven experience operating successfully within fast-paced, high-growth environments. Executive presence and leadership capability to coach, develop, and lead tenured managers and senior financial advisors. Broad retail financial services acumen encompassing service, sales, and advice. FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home. Base Salary Ranges Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity. $124,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $124,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $124,000.00 - $225,000.00 for the location of: New York, California Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
