Vice President, Financial Analysis - Co-Brand Card Finance

Join the Chase Co-Brand Card CFO team for an exciting opportunity to partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Our team acts as the primary Finance partner and trusted advisor to the Co-Brand Partner business teams. We are responsible for co-branded card portfolios’ financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, business cases and ad hoc coverage as needed. We partner closely with business partners and other key Finance/Analytics/Acquisitions teams. As a Vice President in the Co-Brand Finance team, you will support the Strategic Partnerships and Co-Brand business units. You will analyze, track, and forecast the performance of existing card product benefits across branded and co-branded portfolios, and lead the development of deal valuation models, merchant valuation sizing, and multi-year financial projections for new external strategic partnerships and product benefit initiatives. You will also build business cases and support co-brand partnership deepening exercises by translating strategic opportunities into clear, data-driven financial recommendations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of credit card economics and industry dynamics including business strategy, competitive landscape, rewards structures, macroeconomic impacts, and key P&L drivers while partnering closely with a wide range of business and functional stakeholder. Job Responsibilities Prepare financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysisCreate financial business cases supporting business initiativesPrepare presentation materials for communication with internal and external audiencesDevelop and track key performance metrics and provide ad hoc financial analysis on a variety of topicsPerform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and present commentary explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgetsSupport co-brand business priorities and finance workstreamsEnhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature7+ years of work experience in Accounting, Finance, Planning & Analysis or Business ManagementAdvanced skills in Excel and PowerPointInquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peersStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearlyHighly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlinesIntegrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential informationTeam player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A TeamsHighly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Financial services experience Additional Information To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
