Job Function: Career Programs Job Sub Function: Non-LDP Intern/Co-Op Job Category: Career Program All Job Posting Locations: Warsaw, Indiana, United States of America Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Production Planning Co-Op, located in Warsaw, IN. The Production Planning Co-Op will support the planning team with basic scheduling, data maintenance, reporting, and production follow-up activities. This role provides a college student with practical experience in manufacturing and supply chain planning while working under the guidance of experienced planners. Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparing and updating weekly production schedules based on established priorities. Create and update work orders in the planning system under the direction of a production planner. Review basic material and inventory information and communicate potential shortages to the planning team. Maintain planning data, spreadsheets, reports, and scheduling trackers. Communicate production priorities and schedule updates to manufacturing partners. Follow up on open work orders and help document schedule status. Develop / support routine production planning metrics, including schedule attainment, inventory status, and work-in-process reporting. Standardize with ERP SAP data checks and work order accuracy. Help prepare purchase requisitions or material requests as directed. Participate in planning meetings, improvement projects, and assigned training activities. Follow all applicable safety, quality, compliance, and company policies. Target Hire Date: 01/04/2027 Target End Date: 06/25/2027 Qualifications Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Co-Op period. Experience and Skills: Basic understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, or production concepts through coursework or prior work experience is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn production planning systems and processes are required. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required. Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and follow documented procedures and instructions is required. Preferred: Relevant coursework or project experience in supply chain, operations, inventory management, or data analysis. Previous Co-Op, manufacturing, or office experience. Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, or data visualization tools. Candidate Eligibility Requirements Candidates must: Be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship requirements. Remain actively enrolled in their academic program throughout the entire internship period. Be available to work 40 hours per week during the internship.
