Job description

Provide short-term psychotherapeutic services including individual, martial, family, and group treatment. - Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessments for patients seeking behavioral health services to determine need for treatment of behavioral issues. - Complete and analyze evidenced based screening tools and assessments. - Provides individual, group and family counseling for patients. - Along with patient, develop treatment plans for patient, including clear problem statement, treatment goal(s), with measurable, relevant objectives for a range of behavioral health concerns. - Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate care. - Completes required documentation and charting of patient encounters in a timely manner. - Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. - Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current on best practices in the field of behavioral health. - Meets with supervisor for clinical supervision, participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care, concerns and planning. - Advocates for patients and assist them in accessing community resources. - Completes all mandatory AHS trainings and competencies as assigned.
